Heritage Fair in Jonesborough TN

Rob Richmond and John Neth hosting the Revolutionary
War demonstrations and talks.

The fifth annual Heritage Fair reminded locals there’s value in returning to your roots.
Hosted by the Jonesborough Genealogical Society, the fair transformed downtown Jonesborough into a display from another time, allowing locals to learn from representatives of Washington County’s past.
“Jonesborough is the oldest town in Tennessee, and we are remarkably well kept and restored,” said Theresa Bryant, president of the Jonesborough Genealogical Society. “A lot of little towns like us just dry up and die, so we want to keep this alive.”

Homage to Heritage: Heritage Fair lets locals step back in time
