Kings Mountain Chapter Public Facebook Page

The Kings Mountain Chapter of the Tennessee Society of the Sons of the American Revolution was chartered February 20, 1966. We provide support to Greene, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington Counties.

Kings Mountain Speakers Bureau

The Kings Mountain Chapter offers speakers to area schools, civic clubs, historical groups, SAR Chapters, DAR Chapters, CAR Chapters, and other historical associations.

Sons of the American Revolution

The National Society of the Sons of the American Revolution (NSSAR), is a federally chartered patriotic organization. The National Society, a nonprofit corporation headquartered in Louisville, Kentucky.

Southern District of the SAR

The Southern District includes the States of Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee.

Tennessee SAR

The Tennessee Society of the Sons of the American Revolution was chartered on December 8, 1889, in Nashville, TN. The Society currently has 1400 active members in twenty-two Chapters located throughout the state.

TNSSAR Color Guard Events

The purpose of the Tennessee SAR Color Guard is to promote patriotism and educate the public about the American Revolution through highly visible, ceremonial, and living-history activities. Members attend community events wearing historically accurate Continental Army or militia uniforms.

Daughters of the American Revolution DAR

The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution was founded in 1890 to promote Historic Preservation, Education, and Patriotism across the United States. Since the Society's founding, more than one million women have found purpose and passion in DAR membership.

Children of the American Revolution N.S.C.A.R.

The National Society of the Children of the American Revolution, founded in 1895, is the oldest patriotic youth organization in our country. Membership is open to descendants of patriots of the American Revolution.

Heritage Alliance

The Heritage Alliance preserves and promotes the architectural, historical, and cultural heritage of Jonesborough, Washington County, and the surrounding region. Through preservation advocacy, museum experiences, and educational programs, the organization helps residents and visitors better understand, appreciate, and protect the history that shapes their communities.
