AUGUST MEETING - During our August 13, 2026, meeting, guest speaker Dr. Tucker Adkins presented an informative program on the religious tensions in colonial Virginia. He discussed the conflict between the established Anglican Church, which later become the Protestant Episcopal Church, and evangelical dissenters, including Baptists and Presbyterians. These religious and political tensions helped set the stage for the later confiscation of Anglican Church property.
Chapter President Rob Richmond also welcomed three new members into the Kings Mountain Chapter, administering the oath of membership to Chad Baxter, Daryl Long, and Andrew Garrett. We are pleased to welcome them to the chapter!
