"Three Sullivan County deputies were honored this week by the Sons of the American Revolution for their outstanding dedication and service to our community.
Lt. Sam Ford received the Law Enforcement Commendation Medal in recognition of his commitment, professionalism, and leadership within the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies Thomas Buxton and Todd Stanley were each awarded the Medal for Heroism for their courageous actions and exemplary service.
